FILMMAKING AND DOCO WORK
"I have a whole new insight after crewing on the NZ feature film Human Traces (Producer - Nadia Maxwell, Director - Nic Gorman). Working as production assistant and runner on this intense shoot in the Catlins, was an epic experience and a mighty adventure". Human Traces is a psychological thriller set in the Sub Antarctic Islands, and is due for release late 2016.
Currently Vanessa is producing a documentary East to East - The Story of the C2C Rangers. A group of teenagers from Aranui High School, take part in the iconic Coast To Coast race, in tandem with legends of the adventure racing world - Steve Gurney, Nathan Fa'avae, and Emily Miazga.
Vanessa has recently been elected to the board of Women In Film and Television, New Zealand.
ON THE TELLY
In post-production with CTV this autumn 2016, Vanessa presents a series on cutting edge medical research - in association with the University of Otago - Christchurch.
Vanessa is currently on air in the Toyota "Unbreakable Hilux" ads in Australia, Norway, Brazil, Ireland and Saudi Arabia.
Corporate work includes clients such as Avis, Burger King, BNZ, The Warehouse, Foodstuffs, and Kitchen Studio.
